Livonia Italian Bakery and Café was established in August of 1991. It started out as a bakery, deli, and small grocery store until Franco Petrucci had a vision to develop his small business into much more. His long term goal has been to build this store into a diverse business that would offer Livonia and the surrounding communities, great food and services at great value.

Today, almost 30 years later, with the help of a dedicated staff, we offer an impressive variety of food products and services.  Our house specialties include bakery style pizza, lasagna, and delicious homemade pasta sauces.  Our delicatessen includes a large variety of deli meats, cheeses, Italian sausage, olives and more. We also have a delicious assortment of gourmet sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, rotisserie chicken, soups and more. Our bakery offers a fresh variety of breads, rolls, and pizza rolls. To satisfy your sweet side, we offer cookies by the pound, biscotti, and mouth watering pastries.  Don’t forget our most popular dessert, the cannoli! Customers can enjoy this and more in our 30 seat cafe & coffee bar.

If that wasn’t enough, you can stroll through our grocery aisles and find a unique selection of imported and domestic specialty foods, bakery items, gourmet candy and nuts, wine, beer and more.  You can also find gift baskets, house wares, kitchen gadgets and ethnic novelty items.

A big part of our success at Livonia Bakery has been the development of our catering business. For your next special occasion or business meeting, we say… let us do the cooking ! Let our experienced catering staff help you build a menu to your liking and budget.

If you are in need of a gift basket on short notice, we can help. We have developed a selection of attractive yet affordable gift baskets for most occasions, such as sympathy, get well, thank you, birthdays and more.

And last but not least, In 2009 Livonia Italian Bakery became one of the area’s hottest birthday party venues, with the addition of the “Kids Bakery Experience”. We began hosting kid’s birthday parties and field trips. Parents make a reservation and invite their child’s closest friends to come and experience pizza making and cake decorating. This has been a huge success . If you are considering this for your child’s next birthday, weekend days are booking out 8 weeks in advance, so call us early to reserve!
